Holly and Nic both transitioned to wine from the business world, with Holly a former marketing executive and Nic an expert in digital marketing, e-commerce, and international business. Holly obtained a level 3 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and first launched Through The Grapevine, a wine importing company, which has now evolved into two companies, e-commerce MYSA Natural Wine and importer Stuga Selections. Natural wines tend to be highly allocated and hard to find outside major cities, something Holly experienced firsthand. “Being from Oklahoma, it was next to impossible to find natural wine where I’m from,” she says. “People across the U.S. want to have access to these wines without the price being so high that it’s not possible to drink them regularly. Our goal is to fill that gap so that natural wine is accessible across the country.”
